Former RSPCA Inspector Billy and his wife, Gill have quite the ‘CV’ when it comes to nurturing your pets’ health. Providing day-to-day care and most importantly, their happiness! They have been running a highly successful kennels and cattery since 2001. They live on-site, meaning they are never far away from your loved ones.
Billy and Gill hand-picked a highly skilled team, who’s primary focus is on animal welfare and are driven by the love of working with your pets. They are trained to the highest standards and are ready to care for even the most unique pets. They love working in such a wonderful and vocational environment, where they are constantly taught new skills and improved processes.
Formerly know as BJ Kennels and Cattery, we now have over 8 highly trained staff members on-site most days to ensure the kennels and cattery are well kept. It also means the dogs, cats, rabbits, etc are extremely well cared for. Our staff have qualifications / training in kennel & cattery management, daycare management, animal first aid + higher, animal management, fire safety, human first aid and even canine massage! We purposefully choose passionate, caring and attentive animal enthusiasts; so your pet can have the best ‘home from home’. We aim to provide the best care in a comfortable and enjoyable environment for your pets.
About Billy & the team
Formerly known as BJ Kennels and Cattery, owners Billy and Gill Dean bring a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience in animal welfare. They have owned and managed kennels and catteries since 2000. Billy is a decorated former RSPCA Inspector, highly respected in his field with 10 years of service, while Gill previously worked as an equine and animal-welfare professional. It’s safe to say your pets couldn’t be in more capable hands.
Their son, Callum, has lived and worked alongside Billy and Gill for most of his life. Together with senior manager Dave, who has been part of the team since 2010, they offer unrivalled experience that complements Billy and Gill’s leadership. Every member of the team is highly trained in animal welfare and genuinely passionate about caring for animals of all temperaments. Our other kennel and cattery staff also brings years of expertise, as well as a number of extra animal care and welfare qualifications. Our skilled, confident staff, pride themselves on being able to support even the most unique or challenging needs. Our facilities incorporate the latest in animal-welfare technology and are equipped with high-quality materials and equipment that exceed EU regulatory standards, so with a top team to accompany it, we will provide your pets with 5-star luxury holidays.Please call for new pet reservations, as a small and non-refundable deposit will be required and we will need to make your account.
