BJ’s Pet Resort is based in Gloucestershire, between Gloucester and Cheltenham! Our beautifully modern and high-tech amenities have been awarded the highest rating (5*) for excellence. We constantly receive resounding reviews on our booking software, Facebook and Google. In construction, we also implemented latest and greatest features in kennel and cattery design – every building has underfloor heating and air conditioning; as well as extended runs on every kennel, as well as three tiers of luxury in every cat chalet! There are vast areas of space for exercising dogs both on and off lead. In addition to this, we have an incredible agility centre where your pets can play, or test their athletic ability. Your pets will regularly receive individual care and attention in completely secure grassed areas, which provide an excellent playground!
Our cat chalets provide a spacious and comfortable area where your cats can relax and play. They include many sensory and interactive toys, to entertain your cat and make them feel at home. Both the kennels and cattery are of superb quality, having been built with modern, high tech materials; which exceed EU regulatory standards. The entire campus was built to purpose, with your pets needs and wants in the forefront of our mind.
The owners, Billy & Gill Dean, have a lifetime of animal welfare knowledge and experience. They have owned and managed a pet resort (kennels & cattery) since the year 2000. In addition to this, Billy was as an RSPCA Inspector for over 10 years and Gill was previously an equine and animal welfare expert. It’s safe to say, your pets will be in the best pairs’ of hands possible!

About Billy & the team
Formerly known as BJ Kennels and Cattery, owners Billy and Gill Dean bring a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience in animal welfare. They have owned and managed kennels and catteries since 2000. Billy is a decorated former RSPCA Inspector, highly respected in his field with 10 years of service, while Gill previously worked as an equine and animal-welfare professional. Itโs safe to say your pets couldnโt be in more capable hands.
Their son, Callum, has lived and worked alongside Billy and Gill for most of his life. Together with senior manager Dave, who has been part of the team since 2010, they offer unrivalled experience that complements Billy and Gillโs leadership. Every member of the team is highly trained in animal welfare and genuinely passionate about caring for animals of all temperaments. Our other kennel and cattery staff also brings years of expertise, as well as a number of extra animal care and welfare qualifications. Our skilled, confident staff, pride themselves on being able to support even the most unique or challenging needs. Our facilities incorporate the latest in animal-welfare technology and are equipped with high-quality materials and equipment that exceed EU regulatory standards, so with a top team to accompany it, we will provide your pets with 5-star luxury holidays.
